Rockstar Games released a gallery of 39 new Grand Theft Auto VI screenshots on Nov. 5, 2026, ahead of the game's Nov. 19 launch for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The developer announced the gallery through a post on X and a release on the Rockstar Newswire.
The images are available on the official game website. Rockstar stated, "Grand Theft Auto VI is now officially only two weeks away". The company concluded its announcement by saying, "See you in Leonida on November 19".
Gallery depicts Jason and Lucia across Vice City and Leonida
The gallery features protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos in various settings throughout Vice City and Leonida. TweakTown identified 39 unique image files in the collection. Pasqualepillitteri.it reported that 15 of these images depict Vice City, while four focus solely on Caminos.
A breakdown shows Vice City as the most frequent location with 15 images, followed by 9 featuring Duval, 7 showing both leads, and 4 centered on Caminos. The remaining frames display Grassrivers wetlands in two images, Leonida Keys in one, and Port Gellhorn in one.
The images depict a variety of actions, including a store robbery, shootouts from moving vehicles, and scenes at a crowded nightclub and beach bar.
Caminos appears armed in most of her individual images.
These images include familiar faces from earlier trailers dancing near the lead characters.
Justice and Tame Impala feature on the official soundtrack
Vinyl and CD pre-orders for the soundtrack are also available.
Standard and Ultimate editions range from $79.99 to $99.99
The Standard Edition of the game costs $79.99 in the United States and includes the digital base game. The Ultimate Edition is priced at $99.99.
Rockstar omits PC release date and frame-rate targets
Rockstar has not announced a PC version or a release date for that platform.
The gallery of 39 screenshots contains no captions or specific story and mission details. The game launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026.
Digital buyers can begin downloading the game early on November 10. A preload guide indicates the title has an approximate file size of 212 GB.
Trailer and synopsis build hype for the November 19 release
Rockstar released the 90-second launch trailer on October 15, which remains the studio's most recent official video. Rockstar captured the trailer entirely in-game on the PlayStation 5.
Rockstar’s synopsis describes a simple score that goes wrong, pulling the protagonists into a conspiracy across Leonida, though the studio omits the conclusion of that plot.
The wordless gallery serves to build hype without revealing specific plot points, fitting the developer's strategy to remove spoilers after launch. Fan site RockstarINTEL suggests this release could be the final major screenshot drop before the game hits the market. While Sony reported that PlayStation 5 sales fell 35% in the last quarter, the company raised its games forecast in anticipation of the release.
Preload begins November 10 ahead of the Night in Vice City event
Rockstar scheduled the title to arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Players can begin preloading the game on November 10. Rockstar will host a special event titled "A Night in Vice City" on November 18.
