Mahindra & Mahindra reported total automotive sales of 1,31,109 units during October 2026, which marks a 9% growth compared to the same month last year. This total sales volume includes both domestic deliveries and international exports.
The company recorded 73,338 domestic SUV deliveries to dealers during this period. These figures represent the company's overall performance for the month.
Highest-ever domestic SUV sales reach 73,338 units
This total exceeded the 71,624 units sold in October 2025 by 1,714 units.
Financialexpress.com reported that year-on-year growth for these SUV sales reached 2%. Autopunditz.com calculated the year-on-year growth at 2.4%.
Domestic SUV sales grew by 14.4% month-on-month in October 2026. This volume represents an increase of 9,246 units compared to the sales recorded in September 2026.
Strong growth in commercial vehicles and export segments
Commercial vehicle and export segments provided support to the company's monthly performance. Domestic light commercial vehicle sales reached 33,037 units in October 2026, a 4% increase from 31,741 units in October 2025.
Three-wheeler sales, including electric models, reached 17,632 units in October 2026, a 38% increase from 12,762 units in October 2025. International auto shipments rose 77% to 7,102 units compared to 4,015 units in the same month last year.
Trucks and buses business expands by 40 percent
The trucks and buses division reported total sales of 2,838 vehicles in October 2026, a 40% year-on-year increase from 2,034 units in October 2025. Cumulative sales for this segment from April to October 2026 reached 20,643 units, a 24% year-on-year increase.
Tractor sales decline 13 percent amid festive calendar shift
Tractor exports increased 40% to 2,220 units during the month.

Domestic SUV sales for the period of April through October 2026 reached 4,31,480 units, reflecting 17% growth compared to 3,69,194 units during the same period in the previous fiscal year. Cumulative exports for the first seven months of the fiscal year reached 37,133 units, marking a 53% increase over the same period last year.
Tractor exports grew by 19% during the first seven months of the fiscal year.
Domestic tractor sales for April through October 2026 increased 2% to 3,25,498 units.
