Rockstar unveils GTA 6 radio stations and Justice-led soundtrack

Rockstar reveals six radio stations and podcast features

These stations cover a range of genres, specifically Latin, classic country, African, metal, pop, and hip-hop.

This is the first game in the series to feature both terrestrial music stations and podcasts. The stations will broadcast across the game's fictional city of Leonida.

Players can listen to these broadcasts while on foot using smartphones, headphones, or earbuds. This functionality allows the characters Jason and Lucia to access the audio content while exploring.

A preview of the audio includes approximately 12 minutes of music clips and DJ banter from the six teased stations.

Justice to compose official 30-track original score

Rockstar Games announced that the French electronic duo Justice will compose the official score for Grand Theft Auto 6. The full original score album will contain 30 tracks.

This collection will include the music featured in the game's launch trailer. The tracks "Pusher" and "Flower in a Hurricane" are confirmed for the album.

Justice released the seven-minute track "Pusher", which features Gesaffelstein and forms part of the game's 50-song original soundtrack.

The original score album is scheduled for release on 11 December 2026. It will feature three hours of music across a double CD, a triple vinyl set, and bonus digital content.

Star-studded radio hosts and genre-specific programming

The radio host Cara, who previously appeared in Grand Theft Auto 5, will also return for the new title.

Flash FM will be hosted by model-turned-radio host Alex Consani alongside artist Robyn. This station previously featured the host Cara Delevingne, who was known for her deadpan delivery.

Cocoteo FM will feature an appearance by Bad Bunny. The game’s preview suggests that each radio station will feature a duo of hosts to provide banter.

Metal and pop tracks confirmed for in-game radio

Rockstar’s Newswire post confirmed the genres, hosts, and specific tracks for the six announced radio stations. Chamber 106.6 will play metal tracks from bands such as Black Sabbath, Pantera, and Slayer.

The Flash FM playlist includes the song "Electric Feel" by MGMT. An extended look at the game revealed a mix of classic 1980s songs alongside newer tracks from Miami artists.

Billboard success for GTA 6 soundtrack collaborations

Songs from the game are already attracting attention in the weeks before the release. The official GTA 6 soundtrack album, released by Rockstar and Atlantic Records, contains 34 original tracks designed to capture the energy of Vice City and Leonida.

While six debut singles have been identified, it is not yet confirmed whether these specific tracks will appear in-game.

Gameplay footage debuts during South Park episode

The series has a history of music curation and artist collaborations, such as in GTA V, released in 2013. That title featured original music and radio channel curation from artists including Flying Lotus, Tyler, the Creator, and Wavves.
